COLLEGE NEWS: SHERMAN GARNETT, JR. (JMCD ‘77) has been reappointed as Dean of James Madison College after a lengthy review process involving Madison faculty, alumni, students and staff. He was first appointed to lead his alma mater in August of 1999. LINDA RACIOPPI was the recipient of the MSU Alumni Club of Mid-Michigan Quality in Undergraduate Teaching Award at MSU's Founder's Day celebration on February 11. The award, which carries a $2,000 stipend, is given to two individuals annually for quality teaching and substantial continuing involvement in undergraduate education.
