Blast from the Past – the Phalanstery Review Resurfaces
The “Phalanstery Review” was an underground publication produced by Madison students in the first few graduating classes.  James Madison College owes a special thank you to Stephen Murray (JMCD ’72), for preserving most of the “Phalanstery Review” issues available online and donating them to the college, and to Bryan Watson (attended JMC), who has created the web site below and made them available for all to read.  If you are interested in the early history of Madison, take a look at the following web site: http://phalansteryreview.org

Cosi Restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue on Capitol Hill

Please join Madison alumni Kathleen Romig Krepps and Noah Wofsy in hosting Madison's student interns in the DC area at an informal summer event.  They hope to give the students a chance to meet a good cross-section of Madison alumni who live and work in the DC area so they can see for themselves that it is possible for a Madison alum not only to have a solid career but to live a normal, decent life in Washington, DC.  It’s also a good opportunity to get together with your Madison friends and colleagues.  No need to RSVP, but contact Kathleen or Noah if you have questions or need other information.
